How many doses can I get?

During your initial free consultation with a dermatologist, they will prescribe a certain amount of doses per month for you based on your skin assessment.

What are the side effects?

Our system was designed by world class dermatologists to minimize any risk of side effects, but in rare cases dimpling of the skin, which is where the skin around the injection site has a small dent or divot can occur. This generally occurs when too high of a dosage of cortisone is used. These minor indents tend to go away with time, but in very rare cases can be permanent. The other rare side effect is a lighter area on the skin, called hypopigmentation, which may occur in people with medium to dark complexions. This is usually temporary and will resolve on its own with time.

What is the dosage prescribed?

One dose is 0.1mL of 1% triamcinolone

How often can this be used?

You should always follow the recommendation of your prescribing physician (included in free in our service), but most people should only inject a lesion once every 6 weeks and in general limit to fewer than 10 injections/ month.

What happens if something goes wrong?
